Actually, the 3rd year of the RTG has passed and we celebrated it with a cozy RTG get-together yesterday afternoon.
The PhD students of our education program have been working really hard in the lab and are making great progress on their thesis. We’re looking forward to the first internal PhD students submitting their dissertation and finishing the PhD by the end of the year 2022.
Producing the last results, working on a final publication, writing the thesis, etc. – it’s indeed a challenging time for the majority of our RTG students. Nevertheless, we hope they will never loose their positive spirit and feel well prepared for the upcoming challenges.
At the same time, we’re looking forward to the start of new PhD students who will continue the work on the projects. Some of the new colleagues already joined the cozy get-together yesterday.
Regarding this, it’s a little bit sad, that it was the last get-together before the seminar summer break starts. However, have a nice summer everyone. See you back in September to continue the PhD seminar series. Find the current schedule here.
